The Act empowers the Unit to “provide printing services to members of the General Assembly, legislative committees and commissions, and other legislative agencies in accordance with the policies established by the Joint Committee on Legislative Support Services and with reasonable rules promulgated by the Unit.” There were no material findings of noncompliance disclosed during our examination. ACCOUNTANT’S OPINION The accountants conducted a compliance examination of the Unit for the two years ended June 30, 2017, as required by the Illinois State Auditing Act. The accountants stated the Unit complied, in all material respects, with the requirements described in the report. This compliance examination was conducted by the Office of the Auditor General’s staff.
