Auditing Services - RFPs for 2010
The Illinois Auditor General’s Office is soliciting
proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to conduct 2010
financial audits, single audits, and compliance/attestation engagements with a
renewal option for audits of subsequent periods as provided by contract and set
forth in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
A listing of upcoming engagements
is identified in a schedule at our web site at
www.auditor.illinois.gov/Procurement-Bulletin/opportunities.asp. Please visit this web site to obtain
additional information on procurement opportunities.
Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for these engagements
will be issued as noted on the schedule.
Proposals will be due in
Audit firms expressing interest in one or more of
these engagements will be provided with a copy of the applicable request for
proposal (RFP). Please indicate your
interest in receiving a copy of an RFP by making a request, specifying by
number the RFP or RFPs you would like to receive, to the address below, or by
fax to 217-785-8222, or by e-mail at the internet address
AUDITOR@MAIL.STATE.IL.US.

Firms are encouraged to be prequalified to do
business with the Auditor General’s Office and must meet any other
qualifications and requirements set forth in the applicable RFP. For firms not currently prequalified,
prequalification forms may be obtained at the address shown above and completed
forms must be received at the above address no later than the proposal due
date.
All questions and correspondence should be directed
to the Compliance Audit Director at the above address, or by e-mail at the
internet address shown, or by calling 217/782-6046. Contact with Office of the Auditor General
personnel other than the Compliance Audit Director regarding procurement
opportunities may be grounds for elimination from the selection process.
