There were no material findings of noncompliance disclosed during our audit tests. We commend the Senate for maintaining an effective system of internal controls. We conducted a compliance audit of the Senate as required by the Illinois State Auditing Act. The Senate has no locally held federal or State trust funds. Consequently, there are no financial statements requiring a financial audit leading to an opinion. _____________________________________ WGH:TEE:pp SPECIAL ASSISTANT AUDITORS Our special assistant auditors were Estes, Bridgewater & Ogden.
