INTRODUCTION

This digest covers the State
compliance examination of the
Railsplitter Tobacco Settlement
Authority (Authority) for the two
years ended June 30, 2022.  The
Authority’s financial audit covering
the two years ended June 30, 2022,
will be released under separate cover.

There were no material findings of
noncompliance disclosed during our
examination.

ACCOUNTANT’S OPINION

The accountants conducted a State
compliance examination of the
Authority for the two years ended June
30, 2022, as required by the Illinois
State Auditing Act.  The accountants
stated the Authority complied, in all
material respects, with the
requirements described in the report.

This State compliance examination was
conducted by the Office of the Auditor
General’s staff.
