The appropriations and expenditures from the General Revenue Fund totaled $11,903,000 in Fiscal Year 2014 and $62,145,000 in Fiscal Year 2015. Our special compliance testing was limited to these State appropriated expenditures made directly to the Public School Teachers’ Pension and Retirement Fund of Chicago. There were no material findings of noncompliance disclosed during our examination. ACCOUNTANT’S OPINION We conducted a compliance examination of the Public School Teachers’ Pension and Retirement Fund of Chicago for the two years ended June 30, 2015 as required by the Illinois State Auditing Act. The accountants stated the Public School Teachers’ Pension and Retirement Fund of Chicago complied, in all material respects, with the requirements described in the report. FRANK J.
