The Authority’s purpose is to promote development and to assist in the development, construction, and acquisition of industrial, commercial, housing, or residential projects within Madison, St. Clair, Clinton, and Bond counties and any navigable waters and air space located therein. There were no material findings of noncompliance disclosed during our examination. ACCOUNTANT’S OPINION The accountants conducted a special limited scope compliance examination of the Authority for the year ended June 30, 2021, as required by the Illinois State Auditing Act. The accountants stated the Authority complied, in all material respects, with the requirements described in the report. This special limited scope compliance examination was conducted by the Office of the Auditor General’s staff.
