ILLINOIS BOARD OF ADMISSIONS TO THE BAR
Effective March 16, 2022, the Illinois Supreme Court notified the Auditor General
that they have decided the Illinois Board of Admissions to the Bar (IBAB) will no
longer be audited by the Office of the Auditor General. Since 1992, the IBAB had
been audited by the Auditor General’s Office based on agreement in letters from
Chief Justice Miller and Auditor General Holland referred to as the Comity Letters.
